Sheehan & Barry Architects, founded in 1981, provides a comprehensive range of architectural services with a particular expertise in conservation and the refurbishment of existing buildings and interiors. The Partners are David Sheehan, Denis Looby and David Averill; since retirement, Desmond Barry acts as a Consultant to the practice. The practice is involved in a wide variety of work ranging from the restoration and refurbishment of historic buildings to new buildings in both urban and rural locations. The work of the practice is characterised by its quality, creative flair and attention to detail backed up by technical knowledge and a professional management team.

The practice has developed close links with Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers and Environmental Engineers and is in a position to offer the full range of building consultancy.
